Dance the Dream

“I wish to thank you for enhancing, through this valuable project, public awareness on the many social and environmental challenges faced in today’s world, and which are of particular concern for UNESCO’s work.”
—Irina Bokova, Director-General, UNESCO

The Dream@50 project includes Dance the Dream, My Dream for a Better World and My Dream Cuba video series, My Dream Art Contest, and Dream@50 Times Square.

The aim of The Dream@50 is to bring people together in the spirit of Dr. King’s “symphony of brotherhood” and to suggest ways for how we can work together to inaugurate a new era of progress and possibility.

The Dream@50 was produced in partnership with the United Nations, UNESCO, and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Corporate sponsorship was provided by Target, AARP, and American Eagle Outfitters. A complete list of partners and sponsors is available on request.
